ADDIS ABABA, June 5 (Xinhua) -- The African Union (AU) has firmly condemned the attack in central London, which has killed seven people and left 48 injured.
"I wish to extend my sincere condolences to the families who lost their loved ones and a full recovery of those injured in yet another cowardly attack of terror in the world," said Moussa Faki Mahamat, Chairperson of the AU Commission in a statement.
He has also expressed AU's steadfast rejection of all terrorist attacks and underlined the need to continue the fight against the scourge of violent extremism and hate.
