Spanish stock market rises 1.14 pct Tuesday

MADRID, May 23 (Xinhua) -- Spain's benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 rose 1.14 percent on Tuesday to close at 10,916.30 points, up from the 10,793.40 points of Monday.

Caixabank shares led rises, climbing 2.74 percent, followed by Bankia, Banco Santander, and Endesa that rose 2.33 percent, 2.30 percent, and 2.26 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Cellnex shares led falls, losing 1.40 percent, followed by Merlin, Grifols, and Banco Popular, which lost 0.80 percent, 0.78 percent, and 0.57 percent respectively.

Spain's risk premium closed at 122 points and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.59 percent. Enditem
