NEW YORK, April 28 (Xinhua) -- U.S. stocks closed lower on Friday as investors were accessing a batch of quarterly earnings reports from tech giants and the country's economic growth data.

The Dow lost 0.19 percent, and the S&P 500 erased 0.19 percent, while the Nasdaq decreased 0.02 percent.
