MADRID, March 22 (Xinhua) -- Athletic Club Bilbao's Spain international striker, Inaki Williams said on Wednesday he has no intention of leaving the club where he has spent his entire career despite rumors of interest from Italian giants, Juventus.

Last season saw Williams, who is currently on Spain Under-21 duty, extend his contract with the Basque outfit to June 2021 with a buyout clause of 50 million Euros (around 55 million US dollars).

That clause is within reach of Europe's biggest clubs and Juventus are thought to be interested in signing him this summer, although for the moment, Williams, says he is happy where he is.

"I am very happy at Athletic. I am very proud to be part of the club and I have no intention of changing clubs," he commented in an interview with Spanish radio station, Cadena Ser.

Real Madrid are also reported to be considering an offer, but he explained that although the Spanish league leaders were "a great club... I am already at a great club here at Athletic."

Williams was also asked about the future of current coach Ernesto Valverde, who is in his fourth season in charge at San Mames.

The 52-year-old is considered to be among the candidates to replace Luis Enrique at FC Barcelona, but Williams believes that although Valverde would do a good job with the reigning Champions, "the best thing for us would be for him to stay here."

"He wouldn't be a bad coach for Barcelona, but we want him to stay with Athletic. We have heard his name a lot after Luis Enrique said he wasn't going to carry on (at Barca), but we are very happy with our boss, he is one of the best," commented Williams.
