LONDON, March 12 (Xinhua) -- A two-year-old American cocker spaniel named Miami won best of show on Sunday night at Crufts, the world's biggest dog show.
Miami emerged as the supreme champion from more than 22,000 entries at the four-day show in Birmingham.
Miami, full name Afterglow Miami Ink, won the gundog category to secure a place in the final seven in front of a packed arena at the Birmingham NEC.
Owner Jason Lynn from Northern England described Miami as a pretty special dog, saying: "I'm speechless and absolutely thrilled."
Reserve best in the show was a two-year-old miniature poodle, kennel name Minarets Best Kept Secret, but called Frankie from Blackburn, also in Northern England.
Meanwhile Biscuit, a German Shepherd Dog/Border Collie cross owned by Joshua King from North Wales won the Scruffts Family Crossbreed of the Year title.
