DUBAI, March 11 (Xinhua) -- The President of United Arab Emirates sent a cable of condolences Saturday to Afghan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani on a hospital attack in Kabu, UAE state news agency WAM reported.
The attack on Wednesday left 30 killed and at least 50 others injured.
The UAE President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan reiterated UAE's "rejection of violence and terrorism in all its forms and manifestations," and called for further international cooperation to eradicate it.
Afghan Defense Ministry said the Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attack on the largest medical facility in the war-torn country.
