BEIJING, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- Five departmental-level officials have been put under investigation on suspicion of taking bribes and embezzlement, the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) said Tuesday.
The five officials include Zheng Wanxin, former executive deputy president of Shanghai Police College, Hu Yunsheng, deputy Party chief of Jiangxi Energy Group Corp., Fu Chuanjun, head of the office of the flood control and drought relief headquarters of Hainan Province.
Xie Zhixiu, former head of the Cultural Heritage Administration of Shandong Province, and Liu Qiang, former member of the board of directors of Shandong Publication Group, have also been put under investigation for graft, the SPP said.
The five cases are all under investigation.
