TOKYO, June 30 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo shares closed mixed Thursday as concerns remain over global economic outlook after Britain voted to exit the European Union.
The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average ended up 9.09 points, or 0.06 percent, from Wednesday at 15,575.92.
The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange finished 1.87 points, or 0.15 percent, lower at 1,245.82.
Gainers were led by mining, oil and coal product issues, while decliners were led by textiles and apparel as well as fishery, agriculture and forestry issues.
The day's turnover was about 2,261.1 billion yen (around 22.00 billion U.S. dollars).
