Cuban Public Health Minister Roberto Morales (2nd-R) and U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Sylvia Burwell (2nd-L) sign a memorandum of understanding, in Havana, Cuba, on Oct. 20, 2016. Cuba and the United States on Thursday signed agreed to cooperate on cancer research as part of a visit to the island nation by Burwell. The signed MoU involves implementation of joint research projects, meetings, and workshops related to cancer control, in a bid to promote their exchange of information and practices on the matter.
