Nuggets forward Millsap to miss several months after surgery

WASHINGTON, Nov. 26 (Xinhua) -- The Denver Nuggets confirmed on Sunday that their forward Paul Millsap underwent a wrist surgery and will miss several months.

"Paul Millsap underwent successful reconstructive surgery on his left wrist ligament injury," the club said in a statement. "There is no exact timetable for his return, but he is expected to miss the next several months."

"His return to sport progression will be dependent upon consistent assessment throughout the rehab process," the club added.

The four-time All-Star Millsap was averaging 15.3 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game for the Nuggets this season.
