FRANKFURT, Nov. 24 (Xinhua) -- German stocks closed flat on Friday, with the benchmark DAX index up 51.29 points, or 0.39 percent, to close at 13,059.84 points.
German chemical group BASF won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 2.98 percent. Multinational chemical firm Linde and tire specialist Continental rose by 1.83 percent and 1.38 percent respectively.
European health care company Fresenius SE lost the most among the blue chips by falling 1.65 percent. Sportswear and equipment maker Adidas and chemical and pharmaceutical company Bayer went down by 0.93 percent and 0.76 percent respectively.
BASF was the most-traded share with a turnover of 338.91 million euros (402.52 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
