SINGAPORE, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) -- Singapore stocks closed higher on Monday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) climbing 0.12 percent or 4.21 points to close at 3,386.59.
A total of 2.35 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 1.05 billion Singapore dollars (about 775.35 million U.S. dollars). Losers outnumbered gainers by 279 to 150.
The STI index closed up 1.23 percent or 41.08 points to close at 3,382.38 last Friday.
