China lists natural gas hydrate as new mineral variety

BEIJING, Nov. 16 (Xinhua) -- The State Council, China's cabinet, has approved to list natural gas hydrate, or combustible ice, as the country's 173rd mineral variety, Ju Jianhua, an official with the Ministry of Land and Resources, said Thursday.
