LUANDA, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- Angolan President Joao Lourenco on Wednesday dismissed ex-president Jose Eduardo dos Santos' daughter as chair of the state oil company (Sonangol),
Isabel dos Santos, who was nominated head of Sonangol by her father in 2016, will be replaced by Secretary of State for Oil Carlos Saturnino Oliveira, the president's office said in a statement.
Jose Eduardo dos Santos ruled Angola for 38 years, from September 1979 to September 2017.
Isabel dos Santos was considered the richest woman in Africa with a fortune estimated by an American magazine at 3.3 billion U.S. dollars.
