SHANGHAI, Nov. 10 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese-produced large passenger jet, C919, started its first long-distance test flight on Friday morning.
With five crew members onboard, the plane took off in Shanghai Pudong International Airport at 11:38 a.m. on Friday and flied to Yanliang Testing Base in Xi'an, northwest China's Shaanxi Province.
In Yanliang, it will undergo further testing.
