CAIRO, Nov. 8 (Xinhua) -- Chief of the Arab League (AL) Ahmed Abul Gheit stressed full solidarity with Saudi Arabia in facing the external threats the kingdom is encountering, official news agency MENA reported.

Abul Gheit denounced "the unprecedented escalation against Saudi Arabia," when answering a question about the Iranian interventions in the Arab countries' domestic affairs.

"The interventions are rejected by all the Arab countries," said Abul Gheit, deeming it as aiming at spreading tension and unrest to dominate others.

"The Arab duty necessitates integrity with Saudi Arabia," he added.

He expressed resentment over flaring tension in Yemen, explaining that some certain parties were behind not only keeping up conflicts in Yemen, but also igniting regional tensions.

The AL chief added that regional stability is bounded to whether these parties reappraise their policies toward the Arabs, and revise the approaches they followed in past years which caused struggle and tensions in the region.
