Cambodian PM to attend APEC-ASEAN leaders' informal dialogue in Vietnam

PHNOM PENH, Nov. 8 (Xinhua) -- Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen will attend the Informal Dialogue between APEC and ASEAN Leaders, to be held on Nov. 10 in Da Nang city, Vietnam, according to a foreign ministry statement on Wednesday.

The prime minister will be accompanied by Pan Sorasak, Minister of Commerce, Hang Chuon Naron, Minister of Education, Youth and Sports, and other members of the government, the statement said.

"Cambodia, as a non-member of APEC, has supported the initiative to create a platform for dialogue between ASEAN and APEC Leaders in the understanding that these two important regional architectures should be complementary to each other in shaping the future of the region," the statement said.
