DUBAI, Oct. 30 (Xinhua) -- The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has affirmed full support for the unity of the Kingdom of Spain on," UAE state news agency WAM reported on Monday.
Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Armed Forces, affirmed the support during a telephone call with King Philip VI of Spain.
The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi also affirmed the position of the Spanish government, which is committed to the Constitution and laws in force in the Kingdom.
The WAM reported quoted Sheikh Mohammed as saying the UAE is following "with great concern the disturbing developments resulting from the unilateral declaration in Catalonia."
He also stressed the importance of dialogue within the framework of the constitutional framework in Spain.
