BELGRADE, Oct. 26 (Xinhua) -- Red Star fought out a tough victory over visiting Maccabi by 87-84 on Thursday in the fourth round of the basketball Euroleague.
In front of some 8,000 fans at Belgrade Arena, Red Star fell short in the first half by trailing 49-39 when Maccabi's Deashaun Thomas and Jonah Bolden leading the team.
A 23-12 run in the third quarter helped Red Star to gain a 62-61 slim lead.
Taylor Rochestie scored 22 points and assisted five to lead the home team to the win as both teams fought until the last minute.
James Feldeine added 19 points and 8 assists, while Milko Bjelica 16 points. Thomas led Maccabi with 28 points.
Red Star will next face Bamberg of Germany on November 2, while Maccabi will play at home against Milan of Italy.
