6,944 households in SW China benefit from PV power generation projects

Working staffs check the electricity output from the photovoltaic (PV) power installations and calculate the earnings at Guihua Village of Wuxi County, southwest China's Chongqing Municipality, Oct 18, 2017. As one of the poverty-alleviation projects, the earnings created by PV power generation would help local villagers increase income and live better lives. Up to now, about 6,944 households from 272 villages in Chongqing Municipality benefitted from this project. (Xinhua/Liu Chan)
