ISLAMABAD, Oct. 19 (Xinhua) -- At least 15 people were injured as a blast hit Pakistan's southwestern Balochistan province Thursday evening, local Urdu media reported.
According to local media reports, the blast happened at about 7:30 p.m. local time in the Sultan Shaheed area of Mastung, a district in Balochistan province.
Security forces and rescue teams rushed to the scene and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital.
Security forces cordoned off the area and kicked off a search operation.
The nature of the blast is not known yet as police is still investigating the incident.
No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the blast yet. Enditem
