NAIROBI, Oct. 10 (Xinhua) -- Kenya's opposition leader Raila Odinga Tuesday withdrew from the presidential race slated for Oct. 26, citing illegalities and failure by the electoral commission to implement certain reforms.

Odinga told a news conference in Nairobi that there are indications that the presidential rerun would be worse than the nullified Aug. 8 election.
