LONDON, Oct. 9 (Xinhua) -- British stocks decreased on Monday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index down by 0.20 percent, or 14.98 points, to close at 7,507.89 points.
Reckitt Benckiser Group, a British multinational consumer goods company, soared 1.49 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Admiral Group and Associated British Foods increased by 1.19 percent and 1.01 percent, respectively.
Anglo American, a multinational mining company, was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 3.38 percent. Rio Tinto, a leading global mining group, dropped 2.24 percent. EasyJet, a low-cost passenger airline, fell 2.14 percent. Enditem
