NEW DELHI, Oct. 9 (Xinhua) -- Indian Finance Minister Arun Jaitley is leaving for a week-long official visit to the United States on Monday.
During his visit to Washington D.C. and New York, the Indian finance minister is slated to hold bilateral talks with U.S. commerce secretary and attend the annual meetings of World Bank and International Monetary Fund, officials said.
He will also attend the G20 finance ministers and central bank governors' working dinner, officials said.
"The Minister may hold bilateral talks with finance ministers of other countries, and raise the issue of the continued slow growth in the world economy and coordinated efforts by nations on this front," an official said.
Jaitley will also meet investors and CEOs of United States-India Business Council and Confederation of Indian Industry during his visit, sources said.
