MUMBAI, Oct. 4 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets closed higher Wednesday after Reserve Bank of India's monetary policy committee (MPC) decided to keep the repo rate unchanged today.
The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 31,671.71, 174.33 points or 0.55 percent up compared to its previous close at 31,497.38.
