HANOI, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- Top leaders of Vietnam sent messages of congratulations to their Chinese counterparts on the 68th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, which falls on Oct. 1, Vietnam News Agency reported on Saturday.
In the messages, the Vietnamese leaders congratulated the Chinese people on their achievements over the past 68 years and wished the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China a success.
The Vietnamese leaders also said the party, state and people of Vietnam attach great importance to the friendship and comprehensive cooperation with China.
The Vietnamese side is willing to join hands with China to develop relations between the two parties and states in a stable and healthy manner, bringing concrete benefits to their people and contributing to peace, stability, and prosperity in the region and the world, the leaders said.
