Tunisian airline records upward trend of turnover in 2017

TUNIS, Sept. 26 (Xinhua) -- Tunisian airline Tunisair recorded a growth of 15 percent in its overall business with a turnover of 600 million dinars ( 242 million U.S. dollars) until September 2017, the company announced on Tuesday.

Earlier forecasts expect a 26-percent growth of turnover for the full year of 2017 compared with 2016.

Despite the lack of resources and the aging fleet, the Tunisian national carrier plans to acquire five new aircraft to strengthen its services.
