NEW DELHI, Sept. 21 (Xinhua) -- The Indian government Thursday said all Indians were safe in earthquake-hit Mexico.
Southern Mexico was rocked by a powerful 7.1- magnitude earthquake on Tuesday, killing over 200 people.
"I have spoken to our Ambassador in Mexico. All Indians are safe," Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj wrote on twitter.
The minister expressed grief over he deaths in Mexico.
"My deepest condolences to the families of those who have lost their lives in the second earthquake in Mexico," Swaraj said.
