BEIJING, Sept. 18 (Xinhuanet) -- The 5th Chinese Poetry Festival closed on Sunday in Yichang, central China’s Hubei province.
Performances featuring Chinese ancient poems recitation, Chinese modern poems recitation and sign language dance were presented at the closing ceremony.
During the 6-days festival, a series of cultural activities such as themed forums, poetry reading and artistic performances were held to bring a memorable experience for the readers and audience.
With a history of more than 2,400 years, Yichang has become an inspiring city for poets and boasts a rich heritage in poetry culture.
The 5th Chinese Poetry Festival opened on Tuesday.
