MUMBAI, Sept. 6 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets closed lower Wednesday. Equity benchmarks continued descending amid geopolitical tensions, dragged by index heavyweight ITC, ICICI Bank and Infosys.
The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 31,661.97, 147.58 points or 0.46 percent down compared to its previous close at 31,809.55.
