HO CHI MINH CITY, Aug. 25 (Xinhua) -- An international agriculture trade fair will be held here on Sept. 21-24, with participation of over 200 Vietnamese and foreign firms.
The firms will showcase agricultural, forest, seafood, and handicraft products, and advancements in agricultural production at 300 booths at the fair christened Agroviet 2017, Vietnam's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development said Friday.
During the four-day event, several symposiums and forums will be organized for businesspeople and experts to discuss such issues as organic farm produce, hi-tech agriculture and agriculture-based tourism, and seek their business partners.
Vietnam reaped nearly 20.5 billion U.S. dollars from exporting agricultural, forest and seafood products in the first seven months of this year, up 14.7 percent on-year, according to the ministry.
