SARAJEVO, Aug. 16 (Xinhua) -- Head coach of the Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) national team Mehmed Bazdarevic announced on Wednesday in Zenica, a city some 70 kms northwest from the capital of BiH, a 30-man squad for the 2018 World Cup qualifier against Cyprus and Gibraltar.
The match against Cyprus will be played on Aug. 31 in Nicosia and the one against Gibraltar on Sept. 3 in Faro, official FIFA website said.
In the group H for the 2018 World Cup qualifier, after 6 matches played, BiH is on the third place with 11 points. Greece is second with 12 points, while the leader is Belgium with 16 points.
The BIH list has 30 players, including five goalkeepers.
Following is the squad:
Goalkeepers: Asmir Begovic, Ibrahim Sehic, Kenan Piric, Jasmin Buric and Goran Karacic.
Defenders: Ermin Bicakcic, Ognjen Vranjes, Sead Kolasinac, Edin Cocalic, Toni Sunjic, Jozo Simunovic, Ervin Zukanovic and Dario Dumic.
Midfielders: Senad Lulic, Miralem Pjanic, Dino Besirevic, Mato Jajalo, Gojko Cimirot, Rade Krunic, Edin Visca, Danijel Milicevic, Anel Hadzic, Deni Milosevic and Amer Gojak.
