ISTANBUL, Aug. 2 (Xinhua) -- Three people went missing on Wednesday when a private motor yacht sank off Turkey's southwestern coast, local media reported.
The yacht with 11 aboard capsized off the resort town of Marmaris in Mugla province, the Haberturk daily said, noting the cause is not known yet.
The daily quoted Mayor Ali Acar as saying that a mother and her two children are believed to have drowned while 8 others were rescued.
The rescue operation was continuing, the report said.
