SINGAPORE, Aug. 2 (Xinhua) -- Singapore stocks finished higher on Wednesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) hiking 10.6 points, or 0.32 percent, to close at 3,348.80.
A total of 2.01 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 1.36 billion Singapore dollars (about 998.71 million U.S. dollars). Gainers outnumbered losers by 245 to 204.
The STI index went up 8.68 points, or 0.26 percent, to close at 3,338.20 on Tuesday.
