JAKARTA, Aug. 1 (Xinhua) -- Paragliders from 13 Asian teams will take parts in Asian Games tryout match this month in West Java province of Indonesia, association said here on Tuesday.
A total of 100 paragliders will compete in Puncak area of Bogor district from August 11 to 14, chairman of the Indonesian paragliding association Djoko Bisowarno said.
Indonesia will send 18 athletes in the sport event, the chairman said.
"We will send ten male athletes and eight female athletes in the tournament," he said.
The Asian Games 2018 will be undertaken in Indonesia's capital and Palembang city of South Sumatra province from August 18 to September 2.
Indonesia has set a target of the 8th to the 10th position in the Games with 15 gold medals.
