U.S. stocks close at record high amid data, earnings reports

NEW YORK, July 19 (Xinhua) -- All three major U.S. stock indices closed at record high on Wednesday as investors sifted through the country's housing data and a batch of corporate quarterly reports.

The Dow gained 0.31 percent, and the S&P 500 added 0.54 percent, while the Nasdaq increased 0.64 percent.
