LONDON, July 7 (Xinhua) -- British stocks rose on Friday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index up by 0.19 percent, or 13.64 points, to close at 7,350.92 points.
EasyJet, a British low-cost airline, soared 5.35 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Centrica and Rolls-Royce Holdings increased by 2.87 percent and 2.29 percent, respectively.
The British postal service company Royal Mail was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 3.35 percent. ITV, a British media company, dropped 2.91 percent. The British multinational advertising and public relations company WPP fell 2.55 percent. Enditem
