International marathon along Yellow River to kick off in September

YINCHUAN, China, July 4 (Xinhua) -- The 6th International Marathon of Ningxia (Wuzhong) Yellow River Coast will be held on Sept. 9 in Wuzhong, organizers said on Tuesday.

The competition comprises a full marathon, a half marathon, and a 5-km marathon, said Ma Zhongyong, vice mayor of Wuzhong city.

It is expected to attract around 25,000 runners, including 30 international professional runners, added Ma.

The top 50 of the full and half marathon will get cash prize and the total prize of the competition reaches 44,120 dollars.
