SINGAPORE, July 4 (Xinhua) -- Singapore stocks finished lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) dropped 12.29 points, or 0.38 percent, to close at 3211.17.
A total of 1.52 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 893.0 million Singapore dollars (about 646.3 million U.S. dollars). Losers outnumbered gainers by 248 to 163.
The STI index declined 3.02 points, or 0.09 percent, to close at 3223.46 Monday. Enditem
