KAMPALA, June 30 (Xinhua) -- Uganda won the 2017 Africa Netball Championship after beating Zambia 67-50 in their last match of the tournament played on Thursday night in Kampala.
Uganda finished with 10 points after winning all the five matches, while Malawi, ranked sixth in the world, came second.
Uganda started the campaign with a 72-29 win over Botswana before they picked another 69-31 victory against Namibia. In the third game they stopped Malawi 66-43 and humbled Zimbabwe 61-45.
