Dollar changes hands in lower 112 yen range in early trade in Tokyo

TOKYO, June 30 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 112 yen range in early deals in Tokyo on Friday, largely in line with levels seen overnight in New York.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 112.00-01 yen compared with 112.10-20 yen in New York and 112.50-51 yen at 5 p.m. on Thursday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1439-1440 dollars and 128.11-12 yen against 1.1437-1447 dollars and 128.25-35 yen in New York and 1.1426-1428 dollars and 128.55-59 yen in late Thursday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
