SEOUL, June 27 (Xinhua) -- South Korean President Moon Jae-in will attend the Group of 20 (G20) summit meeting scheduled in Germany next week, his office said Tuesday.
Presidential spokesman Park Soo-hyun told a press briefing that Moon will leave for Germany on July 5 to participate in the G20 summit. He will return home on July 10.
Moon will first head to Berlin to attend bilateral talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel at the invitation of the German leader.
The South Korean president will then head to Hamburg, Germany to attend the G20 summit that will last for two days from July 7, the spokesman added.
