COPENHAGEN, June 1 (Xinhua) -- Danish Prime Minister Lars Loekke Rasmussen said Thursday that Denmark will continue to fight climate change despite U.S. announcement of withdrawal from the Paris Agreement.
"It's a sad day for the world. Denmark stands ready to continue the climate battle to save future generations," Rasmussen said on his Twitter account.
In a previous Twitter post, he urged U.S. President Donald Trump to show global leadership, saying "we need the USA on the team." Enditem
