HONG KONG, June 1 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong stocks closed up 148.57 points, or 0.58 percent, to 25,809.22 points on Thursday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 25,614.61 and 25,834.75. Turnover totaled 84.61 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 10.86 billion U.S. dollars).
