Xi says both sides across Strait are community of shared future

BEIJING, May 24 (Xinhua) -- Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, has hailed both sides across the Taiwan Strait as a community of shared future that cannot be prised apart.

Xi made the remarks in a congratulatory letter, made public Wednesday, to the Association of Taiwan Investment Enterprises on the Mainland (ATIEM) on its 10th founding anniversary.
