MADRID, May 22 (Xinhua) -- Spain's benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 fell 0.39 percent on Monday to close at 10,793.40 points, down from the 10,835.40 points of Friday.
On Monday session, Banco Popular shares led falls losing 3.20 percent, followed by Banco Santander, Bankinter, Caixabank, Bankia and BBVA that lost 2.14 percent, 2.08 percent, 1.52 percent, 1.34 percent and 1.16 percent respectively.
On the other hand, Merlin shares led rises climbing 1.49 percent, followed by Inditex, Cellnex, Melia Hotels, Abertis A and DIA that rose 1.13 percent, 1.07 percent, 1.02 percent, 0.95 percent and 0.81 percent respectively.
Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 122 points, up from the 119 points of Friday, and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.59 percent, up from the 1.56 percent of Friday closing time. Enditem
