U.S. dollar declines against most major currencies

NEW YORK, May 17 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar fell against most major currencies on Wednesday as recent turmoil in Washington raised market demand for safe-haven currencies including Japanese yen and Swiss franc.

In late New York trading, the euro rose to 1.1155 U.S. dollars from 1.1094 dollars, while the U.S. dollar bought 110.94 Japanese yen, lower than 113.02 yen in the previous session. Enditem
