COPENHAGEN, May 7 (Xinhua) -- Two American women have died in a watercraft accident in Copenhagen, Denmark, police said Sunday.
The accident occurred on Saturday near Langebro Bridge in Copenhagen Harbor, where a group of watercraft run into the rental boat that the Americans were taking, Danish news agency Ritzau reported.
The relatives of the victims have been informed, according to the police.
Several people fell into water after the collision and five people were slightly injured, said Ritzau.
Nine people involved in the accident have been arrested.
Police are seeking eyewitnesses of the accident. An investigation is under way.
