NEW DELHI, May 6 (Xinhua) -- A passenger aircraft sustained damage to one of its wings after it hit an aerobridge at an airport in the western Indian state of Rajasthan's capital Jaipur on Saturday.
No casualties were reported in the incident as all the 174 passengers and six crew members had already alighted from the flight of Indigo airline, aviation officials said.
In a statement, Indigo said "The aircraft came in contact with the aerobridge while being marshalled to the parking spot at the airport. There was no injury reported to anyone. Indigo has voluntarily reported the matter to the regulator."
The airline has initiated a probe into the incident, while a separate investigation has been ordered by the country's civil aviation regulator, officials said.
