TOKYO, April 26 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo stocks advanced Wednesday morning as Wall Street's overnight rally set a positive tone early on, with a comparatively weak yen versus the U.S. dollar giving exporters a boost and propping up the broader market.

The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average rose 152.59 points, or 0.80 percent, from Tuesday to 19,231.92.

The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, meanwhile, advanced 13.52 points, or 0.89 percent, to 1,532.73.

Oil and coal product, rubber product and marine transportation-linked stocks comprised those that advanced the most by the morning break.
